Quick Takes...

  • Wednesday, September 16th, at 7:00 pm, the head of our Olympia Presbytery other representatives will be presenting food for thought about the "Discernment Process" to gently challenge our Session's vote to transfer from the PCUSA to the ECO. All are encouraged to attend, particularly voting members of our church.
  • We are going to have a Fall Potluck after church on Sunday, November 8th. Please sign up to bring food, at the back of the church. If you are new, feel free to just show up and enjoy the food and fellowship!
  • Ms. Esther is still needing people to sign up for certain weeks to help with our growing Sunday School. Sign-up sheet is on the events table in the back of the church.
  • Pray for our men and women in uniform. At this time several men from our church are currently deployed and more will be leaving soon for an extended deployment to Afghanistan.
  • We have a few projects for improving or keeping up our church building and grounds. Let Bert Wyant know if you would like to help with our facility upkeep. Bert: (253) 964-8075.

SUNDAY CHURCH AND BIBLE STUDY CLOSED

Due to the COVID-19 virus concerns, we have decided to close on-site church activities for the next few weeks. Pastor Dan will still be recording inspiring messages and putting them on our website under: Sermons: This Week. Feel free to call or email Pastor Dan if you have any special needs.

SUNDAY WORSHIP

When we start up again, you are invited tojoin us for Sunday morning worship at 10:30 a.m.. The Children's Message will be around 10:50, followed by Sunday School downstairs. We also have a nursery available during the entire service for children under age 3. To learn more about our Children's Ministry, see Children's Programs.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY.

Bible Study will be suspended for the next few weeks, but will start up again when it is safe and prudent to do so. Our intent was to continue through the end of May, from 7:00 to 8:30. Hopefully those of you who normally attend can continue to study at home. Pastor Dan has been leading us in studying the book of James.
